Pacific Blue
Cross (extended medical) has a new online service
called CARESnet available 24 hours a day.
With CARESnet, you now have the convenience of
accessing information about your health benefit plan, usage, claim status and claim forms
anytime, day or night. Pacific Blue Cross is committed to providing you with secure and
up-to-date access to your benefit information. Their goal is to be the most trusted
provider of reliable, cost-effective health benefits coverage and services for all British
Columbians.
To access CARESnet, simply enter your group and
ID numbers as they appear on your Pacific Blue Cross ID card, together with your password
on the CARESnet sign in page.

safety information available on its Web site. Some of
it's U.S. oriented, but a lot, such as information on
computer ergonomics, applies to any workplace.

BC Pharmacare link has been added to our site. The
deadline for registration is May 1st. Anyone who has not registered can go to the site and
get all the facts. Pacific Blue Cross sent out a letter to all Times
Colonist employees stating
that employees who do not register by the deadline, (May 01/2003) will have all EHC
claim payments suspended until they complete the registration. |
